As we hoped, Yongnuo finally released the Nikon version of its 85mm F/1.8 lens. The Canon version was released a little over two years ago (February 2017), so it’s a long wait in between (Yongnuo used to wait six months/one year before releasing the same lens in the Nikon mount).
Little official information on the Yongnuo 85mm f/1.8N, but it would seem that the two lenses are extremely similar, if not totally the same.
The picture below shows the two mounts (Canon and Nikon) side by side:
We can see that the bodies are similar, as are the dimensions. Only the mount looks different. You might think that the texture is smooth on the Canon version and granular on the Nikon version but it is difficult to judge on one picture. We will have to wait until we have the lens in hand to verify this information.

Announced in May 2019, the 85mm f/1.8N from Yongnuo should be available for sale this summer (July 2019) for a price still unknown but which should be similar to the price of the Canon mount version (about $190).
